About Dr. Elizabeth Berezovsky, PhD

Dr. Elizabeth Berezovsky has over 15 years of experience in drug development and scientific research, with a proven track record of leading R&D operations, managing interdisciplinary teams, and guiding start-ups through critical growth phases. She has played a key role in the development of breakthrough therapies, including her leadership in programs focused on cancer vaccines, COPD, and aging. Her work has led to successful partnerships, intellectual property development, and significant fundraising efforts for early-stage companies.

Dr. Berezovsky’s prior roles include serving as Director of Technical Operations at BioMotiv, a mission-driven biopharma accelerator in Cleveland, Ohio, where she oversaw R&D operations for a portfolio of drug development start-ups. She is also Executive-in-Residence at General Inception, providing leadership to portfolio companies focused on therapeutic innovation, and a Venture Advisor at JumpStart, Inc., offering investment due diligence and advisory services to biopharma companies. Additionally, as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Case Western Reserve University, she advises on IP development and commercialization strategy for early stage therapeutic programs.

Dr. Berezovsky was an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic in the Department of Molecular Genetics.  She received her Ph.D. in chemistry under the direction of Professor George M. Whitesides at Harvard University, and holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry from McGill University.
